The Zoo Med terrarium temperature control system is designed to work alongside various Zoo Med terrarium heaters and cooling fans. This terrarium thermostat is equipped with a large LCD display and provides accurate temperature readings within one degree Fahrenheit. It has a temperature control range from 50F to 122F and operates by activating heating devices in HEAT mode or cooling devices, such as a fan, in COOL mode.
Included with the system is a remote temperature sensor with a 6-foot cable for convenient placement within the terrarium. This thermostat can regulate up to 600 watts of heating devices and up to 150 watts of cooling devices. Additionally, it has a built-in memory function that stores settings in the event of a power failure.
For added convenience, an alarm feature is included that will flash and sound when the temperature reaches either extremely high or low levels. This ensures the safety and comfort of your terrarium inhabitants at all times.
